Dates are set for the new series Live From Lincoln Center Presents—Stars in Concert, featuring a foursome of Broadway’s brightest stars: Sutton Foster, Leslie Odom Jr., Stephanie J. Block and Andrew Rannells. The Broadway vets will headline special performances as part of the new series. Each episode will air nationwide on PBS in four hour-long episodes on consecutive Fridays, starting with Sutton Foster (with special guest Jonathan Groff) on April 20, Leslie Odom Jr. on April 27, Stephanie J. Block on May 4 and concluding with Andrew Rannells on May 11. Stars in Concert was filmed over four nights at The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

EW | Sutton Foster returns to Thoroughly Modern Millie for 15th-anniversary reunion concert

Fifteen years after Thoroughly Modern Millie first took Broadway, she’s back in the Big Apple again.
Sutton Foster reprised her Tony-winning role in a reunion concert staging of the hit musical on Monday night, with proceeds benefitting The Actors Fund. She was joined by other members of the original Broadway cast, including Gavin Creel (Jimmy) and Harriet Harris (Mrs. Meers), along with Marc Kudisch, Francis Jue, Megan McGinnis, Anne Nathan, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. Original director Michael Mayer, choreographer Rob Ashford, and musical director Michael Rafter also returned for the reunion show, as did many members of the band playing on the Minskoff Theatre stage.

The 15th anniversary reunion concert of the 2002 Tony-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie reunites many of the original cast members from the Broadway production. The Actors Fund benefit event is presented February 12 at the Minskoff Theatre.
The 7:30 PM concert will star Tony Award winners Sutton Foster, Gavin Creel, and Harriet Harris, reprising their respective roles as Millie Dillmount, Jimmy Smith, and Mrs. Meers, alongside other original cast members including Marc Kudisch, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Francis Jue, and Anne L. Nathan. Megan McGinnis, who appeared in the original production as a replacement, will also take part.

Sutton Foster is set to reprise her Tony-winning turn as Millie Dillmount alongside fellow original cast members of the 2002 Tony-winning Best Musical Thoroughly Modern Millie in a one-night 15th-anniversary reunion concert. Set to benefit the Actors Fund, the concert will take place on February 12 at 7:30pm at the Minskoff Theatre. Foster will be joined by original leading man and Hello, Dolly! Tony winner Gavin Creel as Jimmy Smith and more originals performing Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan’s Tony-nommed score.

“When I read the finale, I was like, ‘This can’t be it!’” said Sutton Foster, who stars as Liza Miller, a divorced 40-something mother navigating an ageist publishing world by posing as if she’s in her 20s. “I was very invested and very emphatic about it. I cornered one of our writers in a bathroom and was like, ‘You can’t end it this way! How could you do this!’”
