After a successful run in Broadway’s Thoroughly Modern Millie, Sutton went on to appear as Sally Smith, along with James Brennan as Bill Snibson, in Me and My Girl at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.
Spending a bit of her summer in Pittsburgh, Sutton took on this performance before heading back to Broadway to perform in the role of ‘Jo’ in Little Women the Musical.

SYNOPSIS

Bill Snibson, a Lambeth costermonger, is revealed to be the new Earl of Hareford and his newly discovered aristocratic relations are horrified.
Bringing him to Hareford Hall, they attempt to educate Bill into the ways of the gentry and separate him from his cockney girlfriend Sally.
The result? Chaos of the most comical kind!
