The Wall Street Journal | Sutton Foster Talks ‘Younger’ and ‘Bunheads’ at ATX Television Festival

Photo credit Waytao ShingSutton Foster is a two-time Tony winning actress with a quick smile and a desire to play “quirky off-the-wall weirdos” instead of “steely, sexy secretaries, sleeping with everybody and being nasty.” Many Broadway fans met her first in “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” where she was chosen from the chorus to play the lead in 2002.
On Friday, she was focused on her 2012 show, “Bunheads.” The ATX television festival reunited some cast members of the 2012 show as part of its “gone too soon” series. The show was cut by ABC Family after 18 episodes.
